How to get admission without 2018 jamb examination in Nigeria

The joint admission  matriculation board(jamb) is responsible for the admission process in Nigeria, before any candidate gets admission into any Tertiary institution, they must have written Jamb examinations.

now let see the meaning of Ijmb.

IJMB means Interim Joint Matriculation Board.

it is an advanced (A’level) 9 months programme  that is run and moderated by Ahmadu Bello University , ABU Zaria.

ijmb was created to serve as an alternative for students seeking admission into any University in Nigeria, and the good thing about Ijmb is that  every University in Nigeria recognizes their certificate.

How does ijmb works:

ijmb is a programme most student do not even know about but it has been on since 1977 and over 3million candidates have gain admission into different University  through Ijmb.

Admission Requirement:

  • interested candidates  must have five credit pass in  Waec, Neco, Nabteb not more than two sittings.
  • duration of the programme is 9months
Venue of the programme:

the venue depends on the location of the candidate, as there are many venues available in different states in Nigeria, below are the list of venues available in the country.

How to apply:

step 1: Candidates are to pay a non refundable fee of Eight thousand five hundred Naira (8500) plus bank charges 250 naira  through direct bank deposit or candidates can pay online in the school official website with the use of  any ATM card .

step2: After the successful payment of the registration fee (8,750) candidates are expected to submit their payment details online on the payment confirmation page on the school website. after which candidates will receive a text notification from the school with the number filled in during registration.

step3: Candidates are then expected to login into their portal with the payment details.

note: the maximum tuition fee is 85,000.00 and the certificate does not have an expiring date unlike Jupeg programme.

The admission form for 2018 is currently on and will be closing on the 13 of April 2018.
